Tim Townsend

President

Tim was elected to serve as the President of the PCA Foundation in 2019. Born in Michigan, he graduated from Bob Jones University in 1987 with a degree in Accounting and earned a J.D. degree from the University of Michigan School of Law in 1990. After clerking for a federal district court judge, Tim joined a law firm in Atlanta, where he practiced corporate and tax law and represented numerous national Christian ministries and tax-exempt organizations. He served as a founding principal of Myers, Townsend & McKee, and then served for thirteen years on the executive team of the National Christian Foundation as its general counsel, where among other duties he oversaw the development of its leading-edge tax-efficient gift strategies. Tim is a ruling elder at Tucker Presbyterian Church.
