Donate by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT/ACH) or Credit Card

The Foundation accepts EFT and credit card contributions via the EGS (Electronic Giving Solutions) system, a secure online Donation Management System by Stewardship Technology. The EGS system accommodates one-time and recurring contributions from a bank account (checking or savings) using the Automated Clearing House (ACH) system or by means of a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express). Please note: credit card contributions are posted to the specified fund net of processing fees. Depending on the credit card brand, processing fees can range from 2.5% to 3.5% of the amount contributed.

Contributions may be initiated for support of Advise & Consult Fund, Designated Fund, or Increase Fund accounts established at the PCA Foundation. You may also contribute toward the PCAF’s operating expenses using the EGS system by typing (PCAF General Operating Fund) in the FUND Name or Number field.

If the stock is in certificate form, do not sign or fill in any information on the back of the certificate. Follow the instructions below:

  1. Download a copy of our blank Stock Power form. You will need Adobe Acrobat’s Free Reader to view this PDF. If you don’t already have it installed, click here.
  2. Sign the stock power exactly as the name(s) appear on the stock certificate(s), and date it. Leave the rest of the stock power blank; do not fill in the power with any of the information about yourself or the certificate. (Similarly, leave the back of the stock certificate blank, and do not endorse it.) Note that you need only one stock power for each issue, not a separate power for each certificate, so long as the name(s) in which each certificate is registered are the same. Have the stock power Medallion Signature Guaranteed.  (Your local bank officer can do this.)
  3. Send an email or brief cover letter to the Foundation informing us that you are giving the shares represented by the certificate(s) to the Foundation, and the name or number of your donor-advised fund to be credited, or the name of the charity or charities to which you want the Foundation to grant the proceeds immediately.
  4. Send the signed, dated, and Medallion Signature Guaranteed stock power, along with any cover letter, to the Foundation via Federal Express or UPS. Address the package to:

    PCA Foundation
    Attn: Mark Bailey, Business Manager
1700 North Brown Road, Suite 103
    Lawrenceville, GA 30043

If a phone number is required, write (678) 825-1040.

PLEASE NOTE:  When you donate a marketable security to the PCA Foundation and recommend the funds be distributed immediately to your church or other charity, we ask you to recommend in the email or cover letter as well a small distribution you believe appropriate to the PCA Foundation operating fund. The table below provides suggested contribution levels based on the value of the appreciated marketable securities.

Gifted Value RangeSuggested Contribution
$2,500 or less$50
$2,501 to $10,000$100
$10,001 to $50,000$200
$50,001 or over$300

Cryptocurrency

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and similar cryptocurrencies are treated as non-cash property by the IRS and regulated as such for tax purposes. This leads to a number of considerations when it comes to the transfer of ownership, including the need for the donor to obtain a qualified appraisal for donations exceeding $5,000.

The PCA Foundation has the ability to facilitate gifts of a number of various cryptocurrency coins. Donations of cryptocurrency to an Advise & Consult Fund® or Increase Fund at the PCA Foundation can maximize tax savings and thereby maximize a donor’s long-term giving.

Real Estate & Businesses

The PCA Foundation is able to receive gifts of developed or undeveloped real estate, and gifts of interests in closely-held businesses such as S Corp stock, LLC units, and limited partnership interests.  Before accepting such gifts, the Foundation must engage in due diligence to assure real value and to eliminate unreasonable risk of associated liability.

Follow these easy steps to make a gift of real estate, or of stock, units, or another type of ownership interest in a business entity.

  1. Step 1 Click here for REAL ESTATE gifts or here for BUSINESS INTEREST gifts, to read the important information about such gifts and the requirements for deducting them, and to review our standard terms and conditions.
  2. Step 2 Complete and submit the electronic gift form found here for REAL ESTATE gifts or here for BUSINESS INTEREST gifts.
  3. Step 3 Upload the documentation requested here for REAL ESTATE gifts or here for BUSINESS INTEREST gifts.
  4. Step 4 The Foundation president or a complex gifts officer will call you to discuss the gift you are considering.
  5. Step 5 We will review the information and documentation you submit, and will provide to you drafts of a simple gift agreement that incorporates our standard terms and conditions, and transfer documentation.
  6. Step 6 Review the gift agreement and transfer documentation with your legal counsel; then, execute and return.
